In an illustration project for the word MYTH, the Y represents the Norse story of Thor versus the World Serpent. In the end, the battle would cost both of their lives. The stone letter Y above, marks Thor's grave with his hammer sitting off to the side. Carved in the stone, Thor's hand reaches up to grab the serpent as it bites down on his arm and coils around the rest of the Y.
